believes that quality begins with the design of the product. This includes
careful selection of components from quality vendors that are applied in the
product without compromising the reliability of the component or the final
product. The product must be easy to manufacture so that errors do not occur.
Extra time and thoughtful care is taken to insure the ease of manufacture.
Complete documentation of the product from bill of material, through assembly
instructions, test procedures, and handling of field returns is required.
Performance standards are developed for each level of manufacture and are
constantly being monitored. Fall out is recorded and reviewed, and corrective
action is taken as required. Omni Vision builds to order so each customer
order starts a controlled process that is not complete until the customer
accepts the product. Omni Vision works with customers that require special
setup of products. Special test equipment can be used in final testing. Matching
test stations are located at the customer to audit incoming shipments for
conformance to specifications and requirements. Omni Vision participates in
Just-in-Time inventory programs and Dock-to-Stock programs with satisfied
customers.
